CreaTV Mourns the Loss of Gopher Gold

It is with a heavy heart and a great deal of sadness that I am reaching out today to let you all know that we have lost a beloved member of the CreaTV family. We learned that Gopher Gold passed away last week. Gopher was one of CreaTV's first staff members and a mentor to many over those years. Many of you in the community worked with Gopher during his 15 years with the organization and personally witnessed his skill as a technical director, shooter, and editor.

His joy for making media and working with our community could always be felt. He was the happiest when working on the sports show, Hooked on the Niners, which ran from 2009 – 2020. We will miss his humor, his joy, and his companionship.

We will forward information as we receive it regarding memorial services and ways to pay tribute.
