All Open San José partners will be part of this event, each offering their own unique activity.

Chopsticks Alley Art is hosting the "Under One Moon” exhibition, an immersive experience that celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival through contemporary visuals, poetry, and music. This exhibition highlights the moon's cultural importance and features artists like Illuminate SJ Now, Cynthia Cao, Sabrina Kwong, and Robin Lasser, alongside original music by Troy Truong. Participating artists will be present to talk about their vision and creative process.

CreaTV San José will present a participation wall focused on "What Democracy Means to Me."

The Latina Coalition and LEAD Filipino will highlight the significance of voting and the impact of your voice! Afterwards, engage in some coloring activities. Bring your energy, ideas, and passion for making a difference!

Mosaic America wants YOU to come engage with your community through drumming and dancing, led by the Nubian Soul, Mike Fair, and the Peace Dancer, Khalilah Ramirez.

NorCal Public Media, along with CreaTV and Open San José partners, will demonstrate their dedication to public engagement by video recording participant comments about democracy to amplify voices that matter—yours!

San José Spotlight will be recording a live podcast episode where we want to hear from YOU this election season. Share your insights on the issues and races that matter most to you, and express what democracy and civic engagement mean to you. Additionally, don’t forget to explore their election guide to learn more about the candidates on your ballot and access local voting information!

Join Works/San José for a fun button-making activity so you can proudly wear your own design about what civic engagement means to you! Additionally, there will be a  photography exhibit by SJ Shooters and two Works/San José exhibits to enjoy.

It'll be a fun event and we can't wait to see you!
